Completed Ph.D. from University of Delhi on Geochemical Flow Stratigraphy of Basalts from Eastern Deccan Volcanic Province, India in the year 2000 and was working as a geologist in PRL. Ahmedabad before joining this institute in April, 2002. Perspicacious interests are in the fields of Geochemistry, Volcanology and Geo-environment. At present investigating the signatures of Quaternary palaeoclimate and active tectonism between MBT and MCT in Sikkim Himalaya.
