ENVIRONMENTAL PRE-FEASIBILITY STUDIES

INITIAL ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES FOR THE PREPARATION OF Pre-feasibility REPORT OF VARIOUS HYDRO-ELECTRIC PROJECTS IDENTIFIED under Hon'ble Prime Minister's 50,000 MW initiative

Looking at the energy requirements of the country Government of India has started the preparation of pre-feasibility reports of 162 hydro-electric projects all over India under Hon'able Prime Minister's 50,000 MW initiative. Under this scheme preliminary investigations of several proposed H.E. projects has been going on. The Centre (CISMHE) has a major involvement in this and has so far completed the pre-feasibility studies of the following H.E. projects proposed in different river basins of India

Teesta River Basin, Sikkim
